Programme Positioning
A team alignment workshop for marketing teams, using communication diagnostics, creative activities, and reflective team challenges to strengthen collaboration and shared direction.
The Problem We're Solving
Marketing teams often move fast, but speed can hide misalignment. Different expectations, working styles, and assumptions can create friction even when everyone wants the campaign or project to succeed.
The gap is not creativity. It is shared clarity.
Who This Is For
- Marketing teams
- Cross-functional brand, content, digital, and campaign groups
- Teams needing reconnection and shared language
- Teams preparing for more collaborative execution
Programme Overview
This workshop combines expectation management, Colored Brain communication insight, creative design work, appreciation, and alignment activities.
The goal is to help the team understand how they work together, what blocks collaboration, and what kind of team culture they want to build next.
The Learning Journey
The journey starts with expectation alignment and thinking-style awareness, then moves into creative collaboration and team appreciation. The afternoon focuses on alignment, shared aspiration, and practical reflection.
| Time | Topic |
|---|---|
| 0900am - 1030am | Expectation Management and Team Reality Check Overview Participants begin by surfacing expectations, current team dynamics, and the communication patterns that affect work. The block creates a safe opening for honest but constructive reflection. It frames the day as a team design conversation, not a motivational event. Learning Outcome - Surface current team expectations and concerns. - Establish a shared language for the day. - Identify one collaboration pattern worth improving. |
| 1030am - 1045am | Morning Break |
| 1045am - 1245pm | Colored Brain Communication and Creative Expression Overview Participants explore communication and thinking-style differences through a practical assessment and creative activity. The block shows how different people process briefs, ideas, and decisions. Debriefing connects those differences to marketing work and internal collaboration. Learning Outcome - Recognise different communication and thinking preferences. - Adapt collaboration based on how teammates gain clarity. - Use creative expression to understand team diversity. |
| 1245pm - 1400pm | Lunch & Prayer |
| 1400pm - 1530pm | Reconnection and Boundary Challenge Overview Participants work through a team challenge that requires coordination, negotiation, and shared strategy. The activity reveals how the team handles ambiguity, decision-making, and pressure. The debrief connects the experience to campaign execution and cross-functional work. Learning Outcome - Practise clearer team coordination under pressure. - Notice how assumptions affect collaboration. - Identify behaviours that support stronger execution. |
| 1530pm - 1545pm | Evening Break |
| 1545pm - 1700pm | Dream Bricks and CMO Reflection Overview Participants build a shared picture of the team they want to become. The closing reflection connects individual insight, team aspiration, and leadership message. The workshop ends with practical commitments rather than abstract inspiration. Learning Outcome - Articulate a shared team aspiration. - Translate workshop insight into work behaviour. - Commit to one team practice that improves alignment. |
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- communicate team expectations more clearly
- understand different thinking and working styles
- collaborate more intentionally in creative work
- strengthen appreciation and feedback habits
- align around practical team behaviours
Design Philosophy
The workshop uses creative activity and team challenge to make team dynamics visible. The debrief is used to connect what happened in the room to how the team actually works.
Why This Is Different

|---|---|
| Focuses on bonding | Focuses on alignment and behaviour |
| Creative activity is decorative | Creative activity reveals working style |
| Reflection is generic | Reflection links to team execution |
| Output is energy | Output is shared language and commitments |
